A very handy place not only to start to explore the Cleveland Way and North Yorkshire Moors but also to eat. There is a caf and external toilets. Buses do come here but only in the summer. There is also a National Park Visitor Centre here.Parking is not free but there are options to reduce the cost if you are a regular visitor
The walk is wonderful, the cafe is wonderful but closing the toilets before the cafe is not a good idea.
This is a great place to go if you are interested in walking in the great outdoors.Sutton Bank offers excellent views out over the Vale of Yorkshire, some say the best view in all of England? You can also follow part of the Cleveland Way for approx 1 mile to where you can look out towards York itself where the white horse is chalked into the hillside. There is also parking (pay and display) a visitors centre, caf and toilets as well as a bike shop and bike hire.Highly recommended
Was easy to find. Nice gift shop. Good bike routes but need to be fit to get to the top on blue routes. Lovely views over the country side. Personally I think it would be better if the ladies toilets were cleaner but that's just my opinion. But otherwise a enjoyable few hours biking.
Great base for walks, cycling etc with incredible panoramic views. The visitor centre is good for information and the parking is reasonable. Just be aware the toilets only open when the centre is open. Also felt the cafe was overpriced. 1.95 for a cup of takeaway tea made in the cup was a rip,off imho.
