Stopped for a hot beef sandwich this week. 2 or 3 thin bits of supermarket sliced beef, warmed up on a dry bread cake....without butter. Chips and a pot of thin gravy. It was the worst hot beef sandwich I have ever had. I didn't eat it....awful. I wont be back.
Friendly staff. Serviced tea in a broken and cracked tea pot. Food was ok, Unfortunately was cold.

Great little cafe! Had a stop here for food part way through a cycle ride. Friendly staff and good coffee!
You cannot beat it. Greeted with a WARM welcome (you don't normally get else where ) great food cooked when you order so always hot. Been a few times will be back next time in Thirsk.
