  I would like to take a few moments out of my day to write a piece on my excellent experience with R Elsworth BMW Specialist located in Thirsk North YorkshireFirstly I would like to set the sceneSo Ive owned this 2006 BMW X3 20d for around the last 6 years, With minimal issues during this period ......she has just required her usual serviceable items (brake pads/discs , engine fluids and filters) She is a well refined German vehicle with the usual bmw qualitys, such as leather, cruise control, 6 cd changer and is finished in what I can only describe as delightful metallic salmon paint scheme Towards the end of 2018 she started to display an array of pretty lights upon the dash, this was a spectacular display and honestly put my Nans Christmas tree to shame .... but I knew it was only a matter of time before this became a more serious matter Anyway weeks passed , lights had become an aesthetic feature on the x3 dash, if anything were just pleasing the eye with her vast selection of colours and symbols nothing was a real concern ..... until one cold wet Sunday afternoon on the way to a local garden centre to collect some Japanese quince for the front garden , the front prop-shaft decided to try make an escape ! This caused complete loss of drive and a spectacular noise similar to Gallows trying to break the loudest band record in 2007 (132.5 dB )It was recommended by my usual mechanic to find a bmw specialist due to the list of potential issues and faults with my X3..... so I found R Ellsworth Recovery was arranged shortly after the breakdown direct to his R.Elsworths garage where I was told diagnosis would commence the following dayto my surprise I received a phone call only an hour or so into my usual dull Monday morning explaining in detail what my X3 would require and as to how hard this was going to hit my bank account! ..... I decided to go ahed with the workThis is where I have nothing but praise for the man ! I was so impressed with the quality and efficiency of the service I receivedWith regular contact throughout my cars surgery, wether it was on a parts delivery or update to let me know how he was getting on! .... even a short video to explain/ show a faulty part I would require After what I felt was an impressively short timescale, I was informed all lights had been removed from the dash along with any issues they were related too! Obviously the front prop shaft was replaced along with a few other components it took out along its travels which included some of the fuelling system Overall R Elsworth Bmw Specialist was efficient, kind to my wallet and a pleasure to deal with! I could not recommend highly enough!!!!

  I consider myself extremely lucky to have found this specialist as it is getting increasingly harder to find garages who know older and especially M Powered BMWs inside and out. I cannot speak highly enough of the service levels and workmanship I have received from this outfit. I will admit I am incredibly precious about my beloved E36 and I have high expectations and trepidation if any work is needed. Some might say Im too demanding or perhaps an awkward customer, but I do have extensive motor trade experience, most pertinently in the BMW group and therefore my expectations albeit high, I know can be achieved. You just have to find the right professional outfit, like this place. To make matters even sweeter Bob is a pleasure to deal with and genuinely happy to talk at length about your pride and joy if you so wish, he is a very likeable and knowledgeable guy. Ive said it already but thanks again for all the work done over this summer to my E36, shes pulling and handling better than ever after you expertly identified areas where performance and general improvements could be found. I look forward to seeing you again in the Springtime. Kind regards
