Just an apology would have been nice. Used them before with no issues, left a wheel and tyre with them 2 days for a motorbike. Picked up to find the tyre on the wrong way round to which the reply, its the same way as the one that came off ignoring the direction arrows i pointed to in the tyre. And to make it worse two big gauges out of the wheel, i have pics from last ride showing no marks on the wheel and know for a fact they wernt there before. But the reason for me actually giving this review was the attitude shouting from now on we arent doing bike tyres for people we dont know. All i asked for was the 20 back to cover a paint stick to sort a 600 1 year old bike wheel and an extra 40 mile of fuel for two extra trips. I could have asked for the wheel refurbing at a cost of over 80 but just dont need that hassle taking wheels on and off etc, and trying to be fair.. all they could say was come back in January.. easy reviews when its good but attitude when its not.. and no its not on your books because i was never offered a receipt..you scored a two rather than a one given the refund i had to ask for.
Charged us through the roof when we took the car in for a squeak/rattle in the engine. Sent us away with a 160 pound bill for adjusting the brakes, had to get them to actually check the engine when I picked up the car as the noise was still there. They sprayed furniture polish on the fan belt as a solution, which sorted nothing. We feel robbed. Took it to an actual garage, where they identified a problem with the crank shaft, drive shaft and actually replaced the fan belt. Do not go here.
Absolutely fantastic service, fixed our car at short notice, lent us a courtesy car, liaised with our warranty company, would use them again anytime. Thanks so much
Broke down en route to Whitby for a camping holiday. They could not have been more helpful. Couldn't fix it there and then so recommended somewhere for us to stay overnight. Tried really hard to find the right parts and help us but in the end it was going to cost more to fix than it was worth, so organised us very reasonable recovery home. All their efforts were greatly appreciated.
The customer area must have been recently redecorated as it is clean and tidy I have to say it looks brilliant. Customer's toilet is clean and very presentable the staff a very helpful and willing to go the extra mile to help I can highly recommend this garage.
