Wonderful opportunity to see the practice that inspired the herriot books. It was delightful to see the recreated bbc sets, and all the staff were very friendly. Thoroughly enjoyable and a beautiful testimony to the author.
Brilliant way to spend two hours, even if you only read the books or watched it on the screen. Kind and courteous staff (volunteers ?) could not have been more helpful. Loads to do if you are younger, or young at heart, or a great trip back in time if that is what you're looking for. Highly recommended.
