Fairly good. Pretty quiet at night. Toilets/showers need revamping. Value for money.
Lovely friendly welcome from wardens, site is a bit dated ,but spotlessly clean, and so close to the centre of Thirsk, highly recommend this site .
Poor site by CC standards - facilities are terrible and the pitches feel cramped and claustrophobic. It is however superb for easy access to Thirsk and the surrounding area. For the price you pay, you can't really complain. If the showers and layout were improved slightly, it would easily merit a 5* rating.
Great place to discover some great fishing opportunities in the area. Site staff A* as usual. Not 100% CAMC as this is a managed site but all facilities of an acceptable standard.
No onsite dog walk or one close by for early morning and bedtime walks. Walking down a busy main road is not my idea of a dog walk and it's certainly not my dogs. Facilities adequate but in need of attention considering size of site. We have stayed on most of the clubs Racecourse sites and have been impressed with them all, this one is definitely the poor relation and falls short of standards one comes to expect of a club site.
