Excellent B&B on the edge of Thirsk, close to the railway station. There is plenty of parking, a big garden, and the rooms have their own front doors, and the breakfasts were very good. The nearby pub does better than average pub food. It was a good stop-off for us on the way to Scotland.
We had a 3 night stay and it was lovely, the rooms are tastefully decorated and the bed very comfortable, we were looked after by Pat who is a lovely friendly lady, our breakfasts were very tasty. We spent the Saturday night in the pub over the road, the Vale of York they had a local band on called Citizen Smith, they were really good and a good night was had by all.
A lovely B&B with a nice, friendly host. Bed was extremely comfortable and the room was spotless upon arrival. Lovely shower and the breakfast the next morning was to die for.A very nice and pleasant and good VFM B&B.
Arrived ahead of time to go to a wedding, we were greeted by friendly staff and shown to our room which was lovely. We asked about finding a local taxi firm and the lady said if we couldn't get one in time she would arrange for her husband to run us there which was a lovely gesture, we got up the next morning to enjoy our lovely freshly cooked breakfast. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return.
