Was a lovely clean bedroom set apart from the pub itself.the pub was very homely but lively too.Breakfast was delicious and staff were really friendly and helpful .This bnb is near to the train station and the racetrack and only a few minutes drive to the town centre x
What a lovely pub this is. Came on the weekend and Dont know who the lady behind the bar was called but she had red hair and quite small think it may have been Ann. Brilliant customer service, very friendly and welcoming. Would 100% come back again and recommend this.
New landlady is very polite and down to earth, has good banter and good communicater and listener to customers.. would recommend this place to anyone very welcoming, homely pub would give 10/10
It was lovely service. With nice enough food and pretty good atmosphere in the pub. Unfortunately our room smelled of cigarettes smoke... it's in a lovely location near the race Track and train station in Thirsk. I felt our room could have used a good cleaning maybe vacuuming or rug wash... to get rid of the smoke smell.
A good old fashioned local boozer. It has guest rooms which mean you get an ever changing clientele which makes for a good atmosphere. The landlord is very attentive and values your custom. Decent pub grub also on offer. The decor is a little dated but that kind of adds to its appeal.
